Top Gear showed me this song, and I've loved it for a decade and more. That music video is absolutely beautiful. To see my home area represented so artistically, yet so realistically, touches me. Forget the mainstream BBC/ Guardian bullshit. The simple fact is, Glastonbury IS the greatest show on Earth.

It is interesting how Adam Ant has, in a way, followed my own life path. He was my first teen idol and mimicking him in our Adam and the Ants playback band in my first middle school years was in fact my own first experience with a stage. It got to love me two things: singing my ass off on the songs that I love in front of people and not giving a rats ass about it how they thought/think about me. Second, it was my first experience with an artist writing his own songs, and although I finally got to write my own songs since 2018, I claim Adam Ant for giving me the first goosebumps to try it. Now for the life path which we inconsciously followed both: it was some five years after my own bipolar diagnosis that I learnt he had gone through this too, and now that I see him again, he, same as I, got to value it as a valuable life experience. Artistic people like he and I have to go through deep paths sometimes to deliver songs.....but it is a path that I would never, never want to be anything else. Thank you very much for those lessons , Adam aka Stuart Goddard.
